Contains Aspartame

I'm one of those who has difficulty swallowing pills. About the only thing I can swallow whole is a Sudafed or Tylenol Gel caps. I've always wanted to take something like Centrum but those pills are like horse pills to me which is why when I saw these on my pharmacy's shelves, I grabbed them.I was very disappointed to find (after already taking quite a few) that they contained Aspartame. I was shocked that a company like Centrum, who's reputation about being health conscious and only using things that are good for your body, would use such an ingredient.I admit that scientists have said that at normal consumption levels, Aspartame has not been shown to be harmful however I don't think I want to take chances with an additive like that. While others may be fine consuming Aspartame, I was not and thought I should warn others that this product contains it (since it does not mention it anywhere on this site.)

Chewables definitely better than swallowing Centrums!

I resist taking vitamins, because I just can't swallow those horse-pills - even when cut in half I almost always gag on them. Centrum has finally come up with a solution... These are big - almost 1" in diameter and 1/4" thick, but they are easily chewable, and they can be cut in half if you prefer to take two smaller doses. The "citrus-berry" flavor is ok - nothing great, but nothing offensive. I will probably stick with a daily regimen of these - just because they are easier to take.

Centrum Silver Chewable-good solution for people who have digest problem

I purchased this for my girlfriend's mother whose stomach doesn't digest the regular vitamin tablet very well. This one works fine for her.

Great Vegetarian DHA, No Fishy Aftertaste!

I bought the Source Naturals Vegetarian DHA to supplement my prenatal vitamin/mineral. I specifically wanted a vegetarian form because, having taken fish oils in the past, am wary about the fishy aftertaste they often leave behind (I'm not a fish fan, anyway). These are smallish softgels, really easy to swallow, and do NOT leave any fishy aftertaste. I do take them with apple juice just in case, but so far have not noticed anything unusual. Source Naturals is a good brand, too, so this is a good, affordable way to supplement with DHA, whether you are taking it for yourself or are a pregnant/nursing woman wanting to enhance fetal/baby brain development. If you are looking for a good source of DHA and don't want it from a fish-source, then buy this product!!!

Pricey but good alternative to fish omega-3

I don't take many supplements, but there's enough literature supporting the positive effects of omega-3/DHA that I want to take it. As a vegetarian since my youth, I'm not a fan of omega-3 from fish. Imagine how excited I was to find out that fish get their omega-3 content FROM ALGAE. Why oh why do so many companies insist on selling fish-based omega-3s?This is pricey so I don't take the recommended serving size. Here's hoping less is more! The pills are small and easy to swallow.

We are vegan and I wanted to take Omega DHA and my husband needed to increase his HDL. This was a perfect solution and his numbers did improve with his next blood test. They had not gone up with other brands of DHA.

Saved me from glasses

This product really works. I'm a little far-sided, just enough that I was told I should wear the weakest prescription glasses. I've read, however, that glasses worsen your vision over time by allowing your eyes to not work as hard. Besides, I'd rather not have to wear glasses. I started hunting for a prescription.A better diet coupled with the Solgar Ginko Eyebright + Lutein Complex ( Just as an FYI... There's another version I accidentally bought once that was cheaper but minus the lutein that didn't work nearly as well) has improved my vision so well that I no longer need to wear glasses. I don't get headaches from reading or staring at a computer all day when I take these capsules.I'm fairly impatient when I try a new supplement. If I don't see results within the first few weeks, I abandon it. I saw results within the first few days. I have better results when I take it consistently, two a day as the bottle recommends, but I often go weeks without taking it because my vision is so improved. Then, I just take it when I feel my eyes start to strain and it clears up within a few days of taking it. I love, love, love this product.I know it helped another reviewer with allergies/sinus problems. It didn't affect my hay-fever one way or another but this product is well worth it just for vision support. If it improves other areas, I think that's a lucky bonus but don't expect it. For my hay-ferver I use Jarrow Formulas Quercetin 500mg, 200 Capsules which I'm going to go review next!

Nice combination

I've been taking this supplement for about 4 months and I believe that not only is it great for vision support, but it has retarded the effects of allergens on my sinuses as well. Sort of an overall eye area benefit. The combination makes it nice because it's blended to provide maximum benefit for each supplement, and reduces the number of capsules to be taken.

Did nothing for me

I'm a vitamin person but I find that these capsules did nothing for me. I've learned that some varieties of vitamins can take about thirty days in your system before you can see or feel any results. I completed sixty days and I got nothing out of these. I've tried other Ginkgo and it has done nothing for me, so maybe it's just that ginkgo has no effect on me.

Great for Acne Prone Skin

PROS:The Derma e products that contain Astaxanthin keep my sensitive and moderately adult-acne prone skin clear like nothing else that I've tried. Breakouts are minimal (almost non-existent with diligent use); non-irritating like products with benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid or alpha hydroxy.Reduced fine lines and improved skin tone.Does not migrate into eyes and ruin my contact lenses like some of the other moisturizers or facial sunscreens that I've used.CONS:Consistency of product requires packaging in a jar? Would prefer something that could keep moisturizer more sanitary. I'm the only one sticking my clean finger into it so it's not that big of a deal.

Great natural cream, prevents oily shine, gives skin youthful look!

I've been using this face cream for about 6 months and I love it. I've tried all the really expensive stuff and this works better than anything I've tried. It has none of the bad parabens and bad ingredients in other face creams, so that's my main reason for purchasing.The red blotchiness I was getting from other creams, is now gone from switching to something natural. This cream goes on so smooth and it has a light, fresh scent. Makeup goes on great over top of it too. And another great thing about this is that my skin doesn't get the oily shine like it used to, with other creams, and I have pretty oily skin. I may get a bit of a shine if I'm out in the hot weather for long periods, or something on that line, but this cream is much, much better than any others I've tried.As far as getting rid of wrinkles. I can't say that it removes all wrinkles completely (at least not yet), but it seems to get rid of the smaller wrinkles, and it softens the other wrinkled areas, so they don't look as wrinkled. It makes my face look soft and healthy, and more youthful (I'm 48 years old).I will also add that of all the really expensive stuff I've tried that was supposed to remove wrinkles and do alot of other things, I think this cream is better. I'm sure there are great products out there, but I can't spend $300 on a jar of face cream.

Lightweight moisturizer

Like the other Derma-e moisturizers I've tried, it only takes a little bit of product, but a lot of blending. Not necessarily a bad thing, but it takes some practice, and moist fingertips.I noticed it leaves an ever so slight pink tint to my makeup. The lavender scent is wonderful, though. It's also helping to smooth the rough facial texture I've been seeing now in my 40's, and seems to brighten my skin. So far, no acne aggravation at all; I love that part. It might not be moisturizing enough for a desert winter (combination skin type), but I'll know in a few months.

Great Product

I really like this moisturizer. It is safe and it works, what more can one want?! It scored 2 on the Cosmetic Database, and it really does a good job moisturizing. It's very thick, but that's not a problem since it's ment to be used at night.It has a blueberry smell to it. I'm not too crazy about it, but it's not very strong. Don't use it during the day. It's not meant to be used that way, and it containts Retinol which is quite toxic when used in a daylight.

I wish I could give this more stars!

I have been on the hunt for TRULY natural products to use on my face and skin, after an extensive episode where my skin reacted to the chemical-laden products I had been using for years. There are many companies that label their products "natural" and/or "organic", but once you read the label you will see differently. The 100% pure brand is the one that I trust completely. I purchase their makeup, lotion, body care products, body wash, etc.. everything! They really do contain organic, natural products without anything nasty being snuck in!The super fruits night balm is fantastic! When you go to apply it, it feels a little gritty, but once it warms to your face, it melts right in. I don't mind it, because it feels like it's exfoliating just a bit before absorbing, which is great! But, if if bothers you, rub it between your fingers for about three seconds, which melts it, then apply! Voila! It feels great on my sensitive, dry skin. It does contain vitamin a, a retinol (the very last ingredient), but it's very non irritating (don't use it right before going out in the sunlight though). This is a seemingly small jar, but has lasted me over a month already, and I am not even half way through it! There really isn't much of a scent, so it shouldn't bother those with sensitive noses. Using a natural product allows your skin to repair itself naturally. Your skin is your biggest organ, and if you overload it with toxins, how will it be able to look and feel its best?This really is a fantastic company, that I truly trust. If you are looking around for a new body cream, you must try their Honey Almond nourishing body lotion, it smells just like almond extract!

New Zealand Blackcurrants are among the most antioxidant-rich berries; due to the high content of polyphenol pigments (anthocyanosides) that lend the berries their rich purple color. Blackcurrants are particularly noted for their protective effects on eye health; eye discomfort; and visual fatigue. Lutein and zeaxanthin; antioxidant carotenoids found in dark green; leafy vegetables; are important components of the macular pigment in the eye. Not bad! and great price!

I bought these on a 2 for 1 whim at Ulta. If your like me, the first place I show stress or tiredness is my eyes .For the price (even at the regular one) these are not a big investment for 5 treatments. I put them in my fridge(they are individually wrapped in sets) so they stay cold and have been using them 3 times this week per the instructions. Between the scent, coldness and vitamin C/ginko extracts, my eyes are feeling & looking more refreshed considering the high octane rush as of late. Follow up with one of my fav eye creams and these are a nice treat! For more reviews check out pimples and wrinkles! Eased my middle-aged lines

I didn't expect to like this product so much, since I've long been a fan of the (dreadfully expensive) Dr. Hauschka product line. But this simple skin care system succeeds on all fronts.What I like:Overall, the line has improved the look of my skin, but take note: it does take daily use and about 4 weeks to see results.Cleanser - the biggest bottle, the cleanser, is silky and non-greasy in consisitency, with very small exfoliating beads. I was skeptical of a cleanser with exfoliant initially, but decided to try it because I live in a polluted city and have aging skin - two reasons to want a slightly more aggressive cleanser. But I also have sensitive skin and I have to hand it to Olay, they got the balance right. My skin feels great and looks toned.Lotion - my favorite part. I really, really like the lotion for daytime under makeup. Lotion is the easiest thing to get wrong in a cleansing system. They're either too heavy, too watery or too tacky. This one was light and the finish was somewhat powdery. I use a tinted moisturizer over it and the result is a good glow without looking greasy. I'm not going to get too heavily into the chemistry of these products, but I did appreciate the inclusion of beta-hydroxy (anti-aging), pro-vitamin B5, vitamin E, vitamin C and amino peptides (amino acid chain, think collagen). All three products do have fragrance, but it's subtle.Eye Cream - it does its job. The Dr. Hauschka version blows little Olay away though in my opinion. It's a soft, watery cream and does well under makeup.What I don't like:No Night Cream - A must in any skin care line is a night moisturizer and that's lacking here. The lotion included is definately a day lotion, not as heavy as I like for night time.Packaging Waste - Two stars for packaging. A cardboard box, A plastic sleeve over the box, die-cut cardboard paneling and over-the-top anti-theft adhesion on back. This thing was on lock down and was difficult to extract even with scissors. The cardboard is recyclable; the plastic box, probably not. Combined with the heavy plastic bottles, there's a lot headed for the landfill and recycling warehouse here.

My Skin Has Never Felt Better

Let me preface this review by stating that I am a 47-year-old man. After years of sun abuse and smoking I have finally come to my senses and decided that I need to start taking care of my skin. I went to the local department store to inquire about their various products. They promised me wonderful results after spending close to $200. The results were minimal and I felt like I wasted my money. A friend recommended Olay Regenerist for a fraction of the price and the results have been night and day. After only a week of using Olay Regenerist my skin feels soft and silky. It is easier to shave my face because my skin is much smoother. This is only after using for one or two weeks. I can't wait to see how it looks after a month. Also the bags under my eyes are getting smaller and the dark circles are lightening. I am so glad I found this trio of products. They are an awesome deal and work just as well, if not better than higher priced department store skin care products.

Great moisturizering properties!

Great moisturizer; beyond that I saw no tremendous benefit and I am actually a little confused. Confused because the product it touted to improve the appearance of skin, yet there is no sunscreen in the moisturizer. (Sunscreen is sold separately.) I highly recommend the cleanser, but the hydration cream and eye serum leave a bit to be desired.Cleanser: It is a cream based cleanser and does not get sudsy like soap. Also, it leaves the skin feeling soft and moist rather than tight and dry like soap and washes. I found the derma-beads to be more stimulating rather than exfoliating. Unlike some exfoliating cleansers, the beads are easily rinsed from the skin. For a deeper exfoliation, one may consider using a buffing pad in conjunction with the cleanser.Hydration cream: Yummy! Not greasy at all. It is lightly scented but the fragrance does not linger. The moisturizer, alone, is very light and easily absorbed.I have two issues with the hydrating cream:1. I'm not in love with the packaging. The moisturizer squirts through a hole in the center of the top. You mush swipe your finger or some other applicator across the top of the jar to get to the moisturizer. I see this as a problem if you are prone to acne or are sick as you could continually spread bacteria and germs with each application if you don't take the time to clean the top of the container.2. There is no sunscreen in the moisturizer. (The sunscreen is sold separately.) It would seem to me that a product that touts skin improvement would also include some sunscreen as exposure with out protection would undo any results you may achieve. As I stated earlier, the moisturizer, alone, is light, but when coupled with a separate sunscreen, the combination was too much. My skin felt and looked greasy within an hour of application. As the poduct does not list protection from the sun or outright say that it fights aging and skin damage, I can hardly take anything away from the rating for the lack of sunscreen. However, I think that the consumer should be aware.Eye Lifting Serum: The serum is shimmery, thus it brightens the eye and masks dark circles. I have noticed no real improvement and certainly no lift. For me, it worked like any other moisturizer in that is plumps the skin as it is absorbed. If you are prone to puffy eyes in the morning, you may want to omit the eye serum as part of your morning routine. One must be careful to make sure that it is all absorbed thoroughly before applying eye makeup, otherwise your eyes will look a hot mess before you leave the house.Cleanser: 5 starsHydration cream: 4 starsEye Serum: 3 starsPrepackaged average: 4 stars
