I've had Type 1 diabetes for 25 years, and I see a retinologist every 6 months to watch for diabetic retinopathy, which is a common side effect of my condition. Retinopathy is serious stuff, and can result in blindness. I take this Eyebright complex every day, and my eyes are free of diabetes-related complications. The last two times I've seen my retinologist, he's remarked: "whatever you're doing, keep doing it." I realize this isn't a clinical correlation, but it's good enough for me.
