I have used Boiron Optique 1 for about 10 years. I have allergies all-year-round and work at the computer for 8 hours a day, which, combined, results in irritated, red, and dry eyes. I tried prescription and over the counter allergy drops, which made my sensitive eyes feel worse. At my wits end (no hyperbole there!), I asked an associate in the health and beauty section of Whole Foods if they carried any products that might help. The associate showed me the Optique and Similasan, both of which I tried. The Similasan did not help and it was in a bottle that could not be carried in my purse without risk of contamination. The Optique were the best eye drop I've ever tried AND were easily carried since they are in single-use doses capsules. I don't know what I'd do if they were discontinued!

Me and my husband both suffer from dry, itchy eyes - me more so than him - and our eye doctors have recommended we use drops. We've used Refresh Plus, Systane Ultra and more brands than I care to take the time to mention - all on the recommendation of our eye doctors.I ordered 2 packages a few weeks ago based on the reviews and I just ordered another 2 packages because they are the best I've tried! My husband said he's used them a couple of times - he doesn't use drops as often as I do - and when I asked his opinion he said he hadn't used them enough to give me one. I used to use the other various brands 2 and sometimes more a day. I get what I can only describe as a 'film' across my eyes and they become irritated. With these, I find that most days I'm only having to use them once a day, even during the work week.I work at a computer all day long. I think there is something 'in the air' at my workplace as my eyes are more irritated Monday through Friday then on the weekends. Maybe it's just the fact that I'm having to work when I'd rather be home...LOLNeeding to put some more drops in my eyes at this very moment and placing my order for some more prompted me to post my review. Some reviewers complain that there is more in the vials then they need. The directions say 1 - 2 drops in each eye so maybe that is what prompts the complaints as there is definitely more than that in each vial. I use the whole vial on both eyes. I mean, it's there, I've opened it and I'm sure not going to waste any! My only complaint is that I sometimes have a hard time squeezing the vial to get the drops out but then I suffer from arthyritis so it is probably just me.I ordered them from amazon.com and not one of Amazon's Marketplace sellers even though Amazon's price is a bit higher then the others. Feedback is very important to me and I know that if I have a problem with an order from Amazon they will correct it immediately so it is worth the extra money that I pay for these!I am very pleased so far and now it's time to go put some more drops in for the night!

WE HAVE USED THIS PRODUCT FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS. IT IS THE BEST PRODUCT WE HAVE FOUND FOR DRY, IRRITATED, OR TIRED EYES.
