I read about this in a magazine and it sounded like just what I wanted. My eyes water easily - bright lights, breezes... so I was particular looking for it to be waterproof. I often end up dabbing off half my eye make-up. I've been using it for a few weeks and am very happy with it. Used on edge at the base of my eyelashes, it makes a nice thin line. The length of the wand/housing is good for getting a steady even line. As a blonde, I was a little worried about "umber" being too light or too reddish, but I didn't want black. Umber turned out to be a good dark brown, without being blackish.

I own this liner/shadow in black. Goes on great. Very smooth and pigmented. If you give it a minute, it will set (somewhat) and not smudge unless you are really trying to smudge it. However, not long after that it transfers all around the original line and gives me raccoon eyes. I don't really like the smoky eye look, I prefer a clean line, even if slightly smudged... still clean looking. Not only that, if you are even a little too heavy handed with you application or use it to line your lashline, you will get flakes on this crayon like CRAZY! All day long little black flecks falling down your face and people telling you "uh, you've got something black on your face." I actually hate this stuff. It only looks good when you first put it on, but almost all makeup does. The real test is how it wears!I do want to try the lighter, more eyeshadowy colors. Kitten is next on my list! Then the issues I had won't really matter too much. The bulk of the color does stay on your eye for a long time. It just spreads over a larger and larger radius over time.

I am an older woman and this eyeliner was just not right for me. It is too iridescent, I was looking for a more matte look. Very disappointing. I gave it to my granddaughter who loved it.
