Progressive Emu Oil is an all natural, non toxic, non-comedogenic (does not clog the pores), hypoallergenic oil that is gentle for all types of skin.
Emu Oil is comprised of essential fatty acids (EFA's), with Omega 3 and 6 being the most prominent. Emu oil was recommended by a Dr. to help healing after surgery. I used it for arthritis in my knees and hands. It worked very well. It does not leave an oily feeling . It did not help my lower back. It also helped a large bruise to heel quicker.

A friend told me about emu oil, and gave me a small sample to try. I used it around my eyes, which are middle aged and starting to show wrinkles and under-eye bags. I noticed that within a day or two of applying my friend's oil, the skin around my eyes was much healthier looking and wrinkles were less noticeable. What really impressed me is that it seems to reduce my eye bags.I decided to buy some for myself, and I'm very happy with this purchase. It says right on the bottle that some minuscule amount of Vitamin E has been added as a preservative. Vitamin E is good for my skin too, so I don't see what some of the other reviewers are so upset about. I certainly don't want this bottle to go rancid before I can use it - I use a drop or two each time, so 2 oz. will last for many months.It's fragrance free, and smooths on nicely. It soaks in without leaving a greasy feel, and I'm impressed. I'm going to explore some of the other uses for emu oil, and thank my friend for introducing me to it.
