Product Description
Hyaluronic acid is naturally found in the extracellular matrix of human tissue. Topically applied hyaluronic acid forms an air permeable layer and penetrates into the dermis, thus boosting the elasticity and hydration of the skin. The protective breathable barrier on the skin locks in moisture which gives the skin a youthful appearance. The cuticular layer of the skin normally contains 10-20% water, however as we age it can drop to below 10%. Hyaluronic acid comes to the rescue with its unique ability to hold more than 1000 ml of water per gram of hyaluronic acid, which is a key factor in allowing the skin to retain more water. Amazingly, hyaluronic acid adjusts its moisture absorption based on the relative humidity in the air. It is the ideal ingredient in skin care products as it adjusts to the skin's need for a moisturizing effect depending on the relative humidity of seasons and climate of an area. Hyaluronic acid also protects the epidermis by scavenging reactive oxygen species generated by ultra violet light which would normally cause sunspots. Currently there are two forms of hyaluronic acid on the market; one derived from rooster comb and the other derived by the fermentation of yeast. Watts Beauty chooses the natural source over the cruel rooster comb source. In addition, in the lab, there is more control over exactly how potent a product is and is not waived by an animals diet, etc...

I try a lot of products and can't ever remember buying something more than once. It says a great deal that I am ordering another bottle of this. I went for a skin consultation at a very high end plastic surgeon's office and was told that my skin was dehydrated and I said "Yeah, I know. I keep buying heavier moisturizer and it's still dry but with breakouts." She said "No, it's dehydrated. It has the oil. Your skin needs water." Huh? She told me to try Hyaluronic acid to help seal the water into my skin (in more scientific words). So, I bought 1 oz ($75) of it from the office and loved it. My skin has never been better. Then I needed to try it on my body, but it was way to expensive, so, I found the Watts brand.... It's awesome, its even better and it's cheaper... that never happens for me!It totally helps that bummer crape, old skin look. I LOVE this stuff!Tips: Use it on damp skin or it will dry it out (something about pulling the moisture out rather than sealing it in); add it to face/body lotion so you aren't doing two steps (just faster).

Forget about fillers, botox. This is the mother-load ingredient you'll find in many plastic surgeon's office products. -The ridiculously expensive lines they sell. Watt's Beauty is making it available to all of us who aren't uber-wealthy! (Thanks Watt's!)Start using this and you'll see improvement within a month or two. Be patient. It's worth the wait. Especially if you live in a dry climate or you use heat in the winter. I use this every single day right after I swipe toner on my face, neck and decolletage. Two or 3 pumps is all you need. Then I apply my tinted moisturizer (which is super light) or nothing at all.I'm 52 years old and since I've been using this, friends and family are asking me what I had "done." I'm amazed- as are they. They're all using it now. You won't regret this purchase one bit.

I received a free 2oz pump size through a promotion of purchasing other items. I've been using it for a month and noticed the lines in my forehead are smoother and almost nonexistent. It's difficult to tell if there is a difference due to this product, or whether I've been less stressed and haven't been wrinkling my forehead as much. Also, the wrinkles in my forehead were not very deep, and were slightly noticeable, but now they are difficult to spot, even up close with magnification. The product itself is odorless and doesn't feel greasy. When applying it to my face, it feels slightly tighter if I use it alone. If I use it with my vitamin E moisterizer, then it doesn't feel any different. I have sensitive skin and it didn't seem to cause a reaction at all. I would recommend you give this product a try, especially if you can get some with another purchase, and see if you notice a difference. I'll still keep using it morning and night and once I run out, I'll decide if I want to order more.
