I just bought my fourth jar of this product here at the Marketplace. I have found it to be the more effective at combating dark circles than any other product I've tried. I'm 45 and my face is so pale (genetically) that its skin is fairly translucent. In fact, some of the surface vasculature is visible through my skin (always has been). Needless to say, I don't even have to be tired or sick to have significant dark circles under my eyes. In recent years I have used Revision Teamine Eye Complex 0.5 oz., which is touted as, "the only treatment clinically proven to reduce dark circles," and Obagi Elastiderm Eye Treatment Cream 0.5 oz, which is recommended and even sold by many U.S. physicians. Both of the aforementioned products were somewhat effective, but Peter Thomas Roth's Power K Rescue outperformed both for me.Often , when I need to give a patient a trial of medication that is solely intended to improve quality of life, I provide for a 14-day trial supply and have the patient return to me in 17 or 18 days. I do this because it can be hard to gauge the amount of relief proffered until it's withdrawn. This is particularly true for remedies that only partially mitigate symptoms (which really includes most medications prescribed - they alleviate symptoms but do not actually provide a cure because once the therapy is discontinued, the symptoms return). It's a nifty way to evaluate the degree of relief afforded to the patient, i.e. they don't realize it's improving their symptoms until it's gone and they miss it.I recently performed the same trial with this eye-cream. I had been using it for about two years, when I decided to be more frugal. Both of the other products, while respectable brands, are less expensive. It took me just over a year to finish 1 jar of each of the others, during which time I (obviously) discontinued using Power K Rescue. My dark circles have significantly worsened. I knew that Power K Rescue was helping, but I just never realized how much of a difference its use made until I missed it. I now remember commenting on my first jar of Power K Rescue, stating that it had actually increased the thickness of my skin in that delicate under-eye area. That was delightfully surprising, but by far the greatest effect I have seen from this product has been diminished dark circles.I use this cream sparingly twice daily. It is well absorbed by the skin, and I have no difficulty applying my make-up over this product. It does contain some gelatinous grey granules, which seemed weird (even a little icky) at first, but which I have decided determine the ultimate difference between this and the other eye creams I've tried. I do not find this product to be either drying or overly oily, and it doesn't have a strong aroma. One jar lasts me about 8 months, but keep in mind that while I use it religiously I am sparing with its application.

I am 67 years old so it may work better for a younger person. My skin is in good condition for my age with few lines and wrinkles, however I need a really good eye cream due to dryness around my eyes. I also have sensitive skin so I must be careful of that. This product by itself leaves my eye area very dry and seems to accentuate my wrinkles, however I have found that if I apply another eye cream (Avalon Organics Vitamin C Renewal) on top of it I seem to get good results. Much better that with either product alone. This of course is an inconvenience and added expense. I probably will not purchase this product again.
